JYJ (KIM Jaejoong, KIM Junsu, PARK Yuchun)’s DVD and CD were excluded from Japanese Oricon chart recently.

Oricon Chart officially announced that JYJ’s DVD ‘Memories in 2010′, released on March 2, and album “Thanksgiving Live in Dome Live CD” are to be excluded from the rankings, on March 7, 2011.

The reason for this exclusion is that Avex who is both the sales agent and holder of the rights to JYJ’s CD and DVD JYJ, terminated the contract with JYJ.
[Translator’s Note: Unfortunately, if there hasn’t been any significant changes since Avex’s announcement last year, the contract between JYJ and AVEX have not terminated. AVEX, TVXQ’s management company in Japan, unilaterally announced indefinite suspension of JYJ’s activities.]

On March 9, JYJ’s agent expressed his regret for this news in a phone interview with NEWEN. The representative stated JYJ’s official position on the issue, saying, “Even after the notification of suspension of JYJ’s activities in Japan, AVEX still takes advantage of JYJ to generate revenues. This kind of business structure should be fixed.”

Also he said that, “I’m sorry to fans who were hurt and disappointed by this incident, and we will do our best to work out this problem amicably.”

Meanwhile, Avex practically threw out JYJ in last October and promised full support for Changmin and Yunho.
