QTV “There was no external pressure regarding the cancellation of JYJ’s show”
[Kim Su Ji] While the reality program that contains the daily lives of JYJ (Jaejoong, Yuchun, and Junsu), ‘JYJ Real 24,’ has been canceled, QTV who once had the broadcasting rights to the show has explained its reasons for canceling the show and the speculations about external pressure.
QTV insider revealed in a phone interview with Hankyung that “JYJ Reality show has been canceled because we could not fit it into the program schedules,” and that QTV “gave all efforts to adjust the schedules and copyrights, but we plan to prioritize our own programs that are scheduled to be shot in April, May over others in scheduling the programs.” http://dctvxqgall.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
In response to the question about JYJ Reality programs’ air schedules, QTV answered, “we never even had plans [to air the show],” and that “we only planned to buy the copyrights to the reality program to broadcast it but we did not produce the show ourselves.”
And regarding the some netizens’ speculations about external pressure, QTV denied the possibility, “regarding that issue, court’s judgment has already been made and this has nothing to do with external pressure.”
Really QTV? Then how would you explain opening an official website (yes you would argue that it is a teaser website, but still official with tentative air schedule) for a show that you never meant to air and tweeting about how it was schedule to air in February?
